“If you take sildenafil (Viagra), you will likely notice the effects are similar to those seen in older men,” he said.
“The effects of Viagra on the heart rate or blood pressure may be enhanced, or even stopped altogether.”
However, some researchers have been concerned about the link between Kamagra and stroke. A study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association in 2008 found that among people 65 years of age and older, sildenafil citrate is associated with a lower risk of a stroke in women.
Professor James M. Macomb, from the department of cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco, said the study was “a great advance in our understanding of the relationship between nitrates and heart disease.”
“We can now say that sildenafil is a very safe and effective treatment for heart disease,” he said. “It is a highly effective drug that will be used in Australia to treat patients who are at risk of cardiovascular disease.”
Kamagra is also used to treat erectile dysfunction, the condition in which a man has difficulty getting or keeping an erection.
“This drug is a PDE5 inhibitor. You will be able to do just as much as you would with sildenafil.”
Sildenafil citrate is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, a condition in which blood vessels narrow, leading to high blood pressure.
“It is important that you take sildenafil for your cardiovascular problems,” Professor Macomb said.
“You will need to take sildenafil for your pulmonary hypertension to avoid an adverse effect from the drug.”
